(Australian Company Number 092 605 591) respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and users of our mobile applications titled 'EWS Receiver’ and ‘EWS WorkSafe’. We adhere to the National Privacy Principals established by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal and user subscription data.

‘Personal Information’ is information which is identifiable as being about you.

‘User Subscription Data’ is basic information you have chosen about which messages you subscribe to receive. This information is anonymous and is NOT identifiable as being about you. 

Collection of Personal Information
EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEMS LTD’s mobile applications send your anonymous device location securely to the EWS Console Software from where an emergency message alert originated. EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEMS LTD’s mobile applications do not collect, store, send or utilize any other personal information about you or your mobile device.

Sharing of User Subscription Data
EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEMS LTD’s mobile applications are notification and alerting systems that do not send or share user subscription data with any other person or organization.

Use of Your Location
EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEMS LTD’s mobile applications use your device location to determine if an emergency voice message is intended for where you are currently located. In this way, EWS apps will use your location only insofar as it is required to deliver targeted ‘geofenced’ messages to you. Your location is only used internally within the mobile app and in conjunction with the EWS Console software that creates and initiates the message.

No External Sharing of Your Location
EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEMS LTD’s mobile applications do not send or share your location externally with any other person or organization.
